Saint Paul Public Schools recognizes the benefits of early childhood education. Many schools have programs for 4-year-olds to help them prepare for success in kindergarten. Children who are 4 years old by September 1 are eligible to attend a program in the fall. Most programs for 4-year-olds have half-day classes, five days a week.

To enroll a child in a pre-kindergarten program for 4-year-olds, an application must be completed. The application deadline for 4-year-old programs is March 6, 2009. Please be sure to complete the entire application. Choose only a school listed on this page. Check the preferences to make sure you are eligible. If you have questions about a program at a specific school, please call the school.
